Data deletion request

You can request deletion of your Covision account and associated personal data at any time.
What gets deleted
- Your user profile (name, email, phone, role).
- Authentication records and session history.
- Data you've uploaded or created: goals, meetings, notes, scorecards, invoices, messages.
- Integration tokens (QuickBooks, Plaid, Google, Stripe, etc.).
- Marketing preferences and contact records.
What we must retain
Certain records must be retained for legal, tax, or audit compliance — for example, payment records (7 years), AML/KYC records where applicable, and dispute-resolution evidence. These are retained in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
If you are a team member of an organization
Data you created inside an organization's Covision workspace (e.g., meeting notes, tasks you authored) belongs to that organization. We will anonymize your identity in those records, but the records remain with the organization unless the organization also requests deletion.
How to request
- From the app (fastest): Settings → Privacy → "Delete my account." This flow will ask you to confirm and, if applicable, transfer ownership of any org-level content.
- By email: send a request from your registered email address to info@covisionconsultants.com with subject line "Delete my account." Include your full name and the email tied to the account.
What to expect
- We verify the request is from you (typically via a confirmation link to the registered email).
- We process the deletion within 30 days and confirm completion in writing.
- Backups are overwritten on a rolling 35-day cycle; residual backup copies are deleted within that window.
Mobile app stores
If you installed the Covision mobile app, this page satisfies the data-deletion disclosure requirements of the Google Play and Apple App Store. You may also use the in-app flow as described above.
